PLANETARY RULING CARDS
You don't just have one card that you are dealing with! Each card has an entire hand. Each card of the hand falls into a position that is ruled by a planet. In your hand you have a Mercury card, a Saturn card, Jupiter, Uranus, etc.

When you take the sign you were born under, you get the card associated with the planetary ruler of that sign. For example, if you are a Libra, your Venus card is your Planetary Ruler because Libra is ruled by Venus. That is your second most important card! Scorpios have two (because it has two rulers) and Leos don't have any (because it's ruled by the Sun).

Some people feel that their Planetary Ruling Card is more relevant to them than their Birth Card.
