The Big Baby Sage
"The Eight of Hearts is a child of two worlds. They are pouty, yet ancient; shrewd, yet unconscious. The Eight of Hearts have a heavy influence from Neptune which brings a deeper consciousness, yet also a capacity for delusion. Hearts always reflect a childlike nature, but the Eight of Hearts’ has a heavy influence of Spades which brings in the archetype of the Sage.
Eight of Hearts have both faith and optimism which are coupled with intuition and imagination. Watch out though, because under the influence of the ego, their intuition and imagination may turn into unconscious and delusionary influences. They can also bury their psyches in addiction. Their faith and optimism could turn into a tendency to overdo it or be excessive. Eight of Hearts need to be mindful of overplaying their importance, when unrealized ego-driven needs may motivate them to control, dominate, or persuade others to their point of view. Check yourself before you wreck your... relationships... among other things! Eight of Hearts tend to be rational thinkers, so very often their perspective is correct and refreshingly balanced; however, when they are emotionally motivated to hold a particular position, it is nearly impossible to persuade them otherwise.
