 We at Kismet believe a couple things you might benefit from knowing as you delve into our reports about your relationships Everyone has their filter, and this is ours! YOU CHOSE THIS First of all, we believe you chose the particular people in your life, with whom you can achieve the most growth. Some relationships feel great, some feel terrible, and some are the very frustrating dance of both experiences! Those, of course, will be the most productive. (Because you are motivated the most with these!) AGREEMENTS BASED IN LOVE So, in keeping with that idea, it follows that you both agreed to this dance. The next idea we espouse is that you chose these arrangements with (((( scroll down to keep reading, or click the video. )))) each other to find more clarity, to find our power, to dismantle the ego, and to expand our ability to love. (Those are just a few!) FOR GROWTH As a backdrop for these beliefs, we also believe that life on Earth is a school. (We provide a reading list at the bottom, if you wish to delve deeper.) Being happy and successful are wonderful things, but they are not the only goal. In our pursuit of those things, other things happen. Old paradigms break down, as does our ego; i.e. our belief structures we learned in order to survive. We want to feel good. When we don't, we try all kinds of things to feel better. Because relationships create the most joy, they also create the most pain, and if we choose, the most growth. It's been said that we feel good when we are in alignment with the truth. So keep up the good fight to find that good feeling place. And thank all the players in your life as teammates in that pursuit. NOT YOUR FIRST TIME Yes, we believe in reincarnation. The Destiny Card System does too. It gives us a road map to understand who these people were to us in a past life, and who they are this time around. It can also show you how you experience the relationship (Venus, e.g.; love, togetherness, friendship) versus how they might experience your connection (e.g. Uranus; non attachment, out of sight, out of mind, neutral vibration). PLANETARY INFLUENCES Every relationship has multiple planetary influences. Some are more strongly felt than others. Because of the nature of technology, etc, we are limited to sharing two basic planetary influences present in your relationship. These may be past life energies, which makes it feel like there is no rational explanation as to the power of your feelings (positive or negative). Or they give a loose outline of who you are to each other this time. (E.g., my brother's card is my past life Jupiter card, which might mean he provided financial support in another life. Whereas, he is in my Uranus position this time, which means a neutral, non attached, consciousness expansion role. This really fits, by the way!) So when you are reading the Venus/Saturn relationship report, and you say, "Hey, she gives all the sermons; not me! I'm always trying to play fair!" That means that you have assumed the role of Venus, and she has assumed the role of Saturn. In some relationships these roles become interchangeable. In some, they feel quite fixed. If you feel fixed in your role, chances are you are being invited to explore the one the other is playing. For example, if they are always sermonizing at you, they assume an authority position. Maybe it's time for you to become your own authority. They may not be showing you the highest way, but they are showing you the basic energy of that archetype. Okay, one last all important thing. THE FINAL, ALL-IMPORTANT THING You have free will. We have deduced that you have probably chosen this card because it serves your soul's intentions. You will make use of this hand in a way that will make you grow the most. (E.g., a small percentage of male King of H are alarmingly pussy-whipped. Most are incredibly gracious, regal, and kind. The pussy-whipped guys are using this personality problem to find their own power, obviously!) You also chose your card because of how it interacts with other people's cards. The system can show you what kind of mother you had, or how you experience her. The girl you are dating might be her card, so you can see what you are working on in relation to the feminine. It gets pretty mind boggling, I believe, because we are trying to figure out a puzzle that of the universe with only our regular-ass minds. All we know is, they system is freakishly accurate. There IS an order, there does seem to be a PURPOSE. It all fits together so well, we are forced to conclude that someThing or someOne with a lot more wisdom than we consciously possess sits behind this whole thing called Life. We like to think it's each and every one of us. If "God" or the "Universe" works better for you, go there! Finally, just having any framework for our life and relationships such as Astrology, the Enneagram, or Numerology, gives us a sense that maybe this was intentional. Maybe there is more to the fact that she irritates the hell out of you, than that she is just a bitch sometimes. The puzzle is there for you to piece together, the game is there for you to play. The Card System has layers and layers and layers. Becoming a student of the Cards opens you up to the Great Mystery and the fabric of the Universe!
