Past Lives Lived

Through close observation, we have seen that the cards on either side of our card in the spread below seem to have a close connection to us.

We tend to draw these people into our lives. We have so much to give to and learn from each other. Because they are next to us, we will likely have a close friend or sibling connection. And siblings squabble, do they not? They see things from almost the same vantage point but not exactly, and are comfortable enough to have differences.

The people who are the card just before or after ours have a set of lessons which feel like old hat or they are lessons we haven’t learned yet.

We have gone back and forth about which direction would be the past life, and which the future life. Our best guess is that there is a sense of 

descending through the numbers. Time on the other side is not sequential, so we are not going to get into a left brained discussion about the logics of quantum physics. You’ll live. We are just sharing what we observe in this cross section of eternity we call time. See if it applies to you.

Whatever your card is, look up the card one greater than yours, and read it as though you have already lived those lessons. Then look up the card one less than you and see if you feel challenged by that card. Even better, how do you feel towards people who are that card, or even simply that number? What is your patience level with the people with those cards? What is their patience level with you? Be honest. If you want to dive deep, get both reports. You might be able to help someone else with something you’ve accomplished. And you might be able to see more clearly what someone is trying to teach you!

A Specific Example
For instance, if someone who is a King can learn from all the Queens in their life. They will be naturally relationship-oriented, nurturing, and intuitive. You will tend to be more about managing the big picture, running the show, and asserting your view. That's what you are supposed to do. Just try not to be so pushy and arrogant, ‘kay? And appreciate those Queens who like to tell you the truth about yourself!

The Ace experience, however, is the Kings may already understand. In a recent past life (or so it feels), the King was self-focused, independent, and self-reliant. They were supposed to learn self-sufficiency. And that ability serves them well now, does it not? They can tell other Aces, "Hang in there, trust your perspective, and try out all those original ideas you have!" They can say that because they’ve done those things already.

Or the Opposite
However, it may feel just the opposite for you. It does for me, but no one else I know. I am a Seven of Diamonds who feels tenderly disposed toward the Six of Diamonds who are trying to express their questing, wide open freedom of perspective which their families are so threatened by. Their virtues such as fair play, cheerleading others, and intuiting the needs of others are things that feel like assumed pieces of my foundation. I'm not working to achieve these things; they feel like a natural part of me I don't struggle with their biggest challenges, like finding security, or with being tender with my inner child, or with running away from responsibility. (Lol, there is a time for this, and boy am I good at it!)

The Eight of Diamonds people in my life, however, are triggering for me, mainly because I want to be more like them. They can be assholes. I cannot.  It's' a good thing to not care so much about what other people think of you. They see the big picture. I tend to be stuck navel-gazing. (Sevens are very analytical.) They are pragmatic, independent, and very comfortable with leadership. I feel like the women especially have a quality of fabulousness. I feel like I might just figure that out…maybe…but probably not this time. They also tend to have big boobs. (That's never gonna happen.) I'm not kidding. The big boob thing goes with their card. They tend to be mega-nurturers.

A Personal Note From Paula
I have been studying the system for over 20 years now, and have watched how it plays out in the lives of people. During my psychic readings, I get to see glimpses and themes from their past lives, as well as full blown movie versions when I do a regression. I have also studied some famous historical figures, and their possible recent incarnations, and when I use the Destiny Cards System, I see amazing themes and patterns regarding past life karma. Make no mistake, we do resolve and balance and pay back EVERYTHING! Its a really good thing. You can feel into what your karma is by what you are compelled to do, and by what you are especially triggered about.  Just pay attention.

I also want you to know that my writing about karmic relationships comes from a history; I have had many of them! I told my guides after relationship #8 or so, that I WAS DONE WITH THESE KARMIC THINGS! They said slowly and gently, "Are you really?" as if I could choose to be done, but that I was being advised against it.  "Paula, do what you came here to do," was my decision.  I have not regretted it, and guess what; they are done now! Truly.
